Andrea has over 19 years of experience in the field of art therapy and counseling. She is a graduate of the University of Dallas Constantine College and the University of West Georgia, with a focus on Phenomenology and Humanistic Psychology, respectively . Andrea completed post graduate studies at the Art Therapy Institute.
Andrea is committed to providing compassionate care and support to individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD. She believes that art therapy is a powerful tool for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Andrea's expertise in the field of art therapy has made her a respected leader and sought-after clinician.
In addition to her clinical work, Andrea provides supervision for both Art Therapy Provisional (ATR-P) and LPC Associates. Jennifer Olivares is an emerging Art Therapist, dedicated educator, and practicing artist. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Art Therapy at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, earning her Practicum experience. As part of her training, Jennifer will co-lead therapeutic art groups at After 8 to Educate and provide services to clients on a sliding-scale basis.
Jennifer’s commitment to helping others through creativity is informed by her extensive background in both education and the arts. Since 2019, she has served as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor at Grayson College, where she has honed her ability to build inclusive, student-centered learning environments. Previously, she taught Adult Education at Denton ISD and held leadership roles at North Texas Job Corps, experiences that solidified her passion for advocacy and community engagement.
With a foundation in Sculpture, Ceramics, and Oil Painting from her earlier studies at Collin County Community College, Jennifer brings a wide range of artistic expertise to her therapeutic approach. She has a particular passion for working with individuals in recovery, channeling the healing power of art to foster resilience, self-expression, and personal growth. Whether teaching English or facilitating art therapy sessions, Jennifer’s goal remains the same: to create transformative spaces where individuals feel empowered to learn, heal, and thrive.
Roma is a seven-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who has earned her Canine Good Citizen Certificate and works as a therapy dog. She has a natural talent for providing comfort and support to those in need and has become a beloved member of the therapy team. Roma is highly trained and has a gentle demeanor that makes her a perfect fit for her job. In her free time, she loves to play fetch and cuddle with her family. Roma has touched the hearts of many and continues to make a positive impact in the lives of those she meets.
Bianca is the dynamic force behind our call management and appointment scheduling system. With a knack for organization and a dedication to efficiency, she ensures that every client interaction is handled with care and precision.
