Individual Sessions

We blend creative expression with evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support your healing journey. Under the leadership of Andrea Davis, LPC-AT-S, ATR-BC, ATCS, our experienced team provides compassionate care for children, teens, and adults.

Our Services & Fee Structure:

• Individual therapy with licensed art therapists (LPC-AT, ATR-BC)

• Practicum student sessions available on sliding scale ($0-$60)

• LPC Associates and Provisional Art Therapists available ($100)

• Insurance accepted: Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, BCBS, Optum, and Wellpoint

• Partnership with Dallas Art Therapy (501(c)(3)) for financial assistance

• Complimentary services for Veterans

Our Approach:

Each session is tailored to your unique needs, combining art therapy with trauma-informed care, TF-CBT, and other evidence-based practices. Our team of master's level art therapists provides dedicated one-on-one attention in a safe, supportive environment.

Spectrum Stars Art Therapy Group 

Where Creativity Meets Connection

Transform your child's social world through the power of art therapy. Spectrum Stars is thoughtfully designed for young people on the autism spectrum who want to build lasting friendships and social confidence.

• Small, carefully curated groups (maximum 6 participants)

• Expert facilitation by MA level art therapists

• Structured yet flexible creative activities

• Safe space for authentic self-expression

$200.00 - Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor

$100.00 - ATR-P (Art Therapist Provisional) LPC Associate (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate) under Supervision

$60.00 - Masters level Practicum Student (under Supervision)

$50.00 - Group Therapy

Cost of the session includes completing associated paperwork for each visit and any communication to your other doctors/therapists regarding your direct treatment.  Any request for forms, letters, records, or documents (including paperwork for disability will be billed at a rate of $200/hour in 5-minute increments. 

Free - 10 minutes or less

$200/ hour - 10+ minutes prorated in 5 minute increments/hour

Paperwork Services

$200/ hour - Letters, FMLA, Disability, Summaries of treatment

$300/ hour Attorney calls, reports, testimony, preparation, deposition and court appearances

$1500 retainer if required to testify in Dallas county

$1800 retainer outside Dallas county

No Show Fee - $100

Late Cancellation (less than 24 hours) - $100

Insufficient Funds Fee - $25/occurrence

Past due fee accrued every 30 days due - $50

Once an appointment is scheduled, that time is reserved only for you. If you are unable to attend a session, contact your provider at least 24-hours in advance and there will be no charge.   The only exceptions to this policy are inclement weather (ice), a death in the family, or what you and your individual provider may have agreed upon.   

If you miss or cancel an appointment without providing 24 hours notice and are unable to reschedule within the same week, you, not your insurance company, will be required to pay the cancellation fee at time of original scheduled appointment.  

Davis Art Therapy does not qualify to notify about surprise billing, but we want you to know your rights and the facts about the No Surprise Act that became effective January 1, 2022.  

Davis Art Therapy does not qualify as a “facility” and is not contracted with insurance carriers as a facility.  Our providers  are directly supervised by a contracted provider.  We bill in-network insurance claims and can provide a link to Mentaya for billing out-of-network claims.

You have the right to always choose your provider for in-network and out-of-network services.  In-network out of pocket expense are directly connected to your specific coverage plan and should be verified with your insurance carrier.
